Mission: The McAuley Village Child Care Learning Center is a licensed child care provider offering safety, enrichment and a values-based education for toddlers 18 months to 3 years and preschool children ages 3-5 living within McAuley Village and the surrounding neighborhoods.
We operate daily, year-round from 6:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m and welcome the families we serve with hospitality, compassion and respect. These are the same values we teach.
We have partnered with Head Start Providence, which is operated by Children’s Friend, to provide Head Start to children ages 3 to 5 and Early Head Start for children 18 months to 3 years. We are also a member of the Childcare Support Network, which provides support and case management. Please note: no newborns.
In addition to our trained staff, the Child Care Learning Center is supported by additional volunteers including, foster grandparents, college work-study students, and corporate groups. Volunteer efforts enable us to provide not only basic educational building blocks, but also special events such as a visit from a petting zoo, building gingerbread houses and an outdoor bazaar. The Center is across from a green city park and playground, which is available to us for use.
The Center has 24-hour security as well as video recordings in each classroom.
A registered nurse works on site, and each child is provided nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks in order to fully focus on learning, growing and experiencing what the Center has to offer.
Note: No Infants
Toddlers: $195/week (Includes breakfast, lunch and snack)
Pre-School: $175/week (Includes breakfast, lunch and snack)
We accept both private pay and subsidies from the Department of Human Services.
