Ray Thimas, McAuley House’s new Kitchen Manager, holds a culinary certificate from the Community College of RI and is joining us with over 10 years of experience in the food service industry. Prior to his employment here, Ray was the hospitality and restaurant manager and the front and rear-house operation manager of multiple establishments in East Providence, North Providence, Lincoln, and Taunton.
Growing up in the South Providence Community, right next to the Amos House, Ray saw the need to help others and resolved to serve people in need. Ray is ideally suited to serve the mission of McAuley Ministries of providing the basic needs of food, shelter, and respect with hospitality, compassion, and dignity for the most vulnerable in our community. We couldn’t be prouder to have him on our team. Welcome, Ray!

Welcome, Ray!
